🍓🍵Strawberry Matcha Pound Cake - my husband's birthday cake for this year.

Every year, I bake a new cake for my husband on his birthday. And as you know, I try to make treats unique. Instead of my usual cake, I opted for a pound cake - more buttery and creates a textural contrast to the frosting.

This cake is matcha forward but blends seemlessly with the sweet strawberries. Components: matcha pound cake, strawberry compote, matcha cremeux, strawberry cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries.

Matcha + Strawberries, my fave combo, ever!

Oh, and I accepted my first order in a very long time today. i'm going to be a little selective but I hink I'm ready to take orders again. 🥰

How is everyone doing?! Hopefully, you still remember me ❤️ It is just so hard to keep up with social media, work, studying and baking. I just don't know how other manage.

Thank you all so much for your appreciation of Chocolates & Flowers, our Valentine's Day box for 2023.

I always try to make my treats unique.This is so I can let you know that I value you for wanting to spend your hard-earned money on them. Each of my treats go under intense recipe development from conceptualization to flavor profiling down to styling and shelf life holding conditions. And this cake isn't an exception!

This Chocolate-Hazelnut Marble Cake is a combination of varying textures and levels of flavors. It's the right balance of soft and dense, smooth and crunchy. You can taste gianduja in so many components - cake, cremeux, praline (both crunch and smooth), sablé and glaćage. It's not the easiest to make, but worth every step.

- a 4"chocolate-hazelnut marble cake topped with gianduja cremeux, hazelnut praline 2 ways and dark chocolate sable then covered in double chocolate glaçage

💝 ALMOND/GENMAICHA RUBY RASPBERRY COOKIES
- 2 kinds of almond shortcrust cookies filled with ruby caramel ganache with a raspberry gelee center
* Genmaicha is Japanese brown rice green tea
* Ruby Chocolate is similar to white chocolate in creaminess but has fruity/sour notes

It's happening! SASKMAKER SALE is this Saturday, Nov 19th, from 10am until 4pm at Ebenezer Baptiste Church (107 McWillie Ave)

I almost decided to pull out since I just started a new job and on top of that needed to fulfill corporate orders. So, this is why I bave been fairly quiet on here. But, I'm still baking! And I'm going to bake as much as I can for this market on Saturday.

This is my one and only market for the year, so I hope to see you all there! I am bringing with me 20+ treats. I hope these are enough options for you to come and see me!
