We have been serving Pho, a Vietnamese noodle at Brick House Cafe. This is one of the most popular Vietnamese food around the world. Vietnamese people can enjoy Pho at any time they want: breakfast, dinner and supper.
Pho is pronounced as 'Fuh' and not 'Foe'. The stories around its origin are a little murky, but it is deemed to have evolved from a dish called Pot Au Feu, which the Vietnamese colonial masters, the French, made during their regime. Pho is such popular food hence many Vietnamese restaurants serve it only on their menu. A million bowls of Pho are sold per day around the world.
Due to its nutritious ingredients and high protein content, Pho may offer several benefits, including reduced inflammation and improved joint health. Still, it can be high in sodium and calories, so portion size is important. Overall, Pho can be a nutritious addition to a well-balanced diet.
At Brick House, we make the Pho soup based on the recipe of a 5-star Vietnamese restaurant in Hochiminh City. We make Pho beef broth 100% from scratch — which is delicious but requires lots of beef bones and extra veggies, plus an extra 24 hours of simmering.
If you want to have an experience of one of the most famous Vietnamese food, we will be more than happy to serve you!
The best Pho in Saskatchewan is now serving at Brick House Cafe :).
