I am looking for someone who loves to work under pressure, who can hustle. Someone who i can trust to give the same service when I am not present as they do when i am there.

A.M. Bistro is located in the Champlain college building.

We follow the STUDENT Schedule. meaning that when there is no class for students we are not open.

We are open from mid August to 1st week of December
We are closed 1 week in Oct for Thanksgiving

We are open from mid January til 1 week in May
We close for March break .

We close from May until mid August for summer.

1 position to fill.

Start date : TBD

Shift is :
Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 4:00
Friday 8:00 - 2:30

Language: English is a priority.

Responsibilities
Greet customers, make suggestions and answer questions about food and beverages;
Take orders, place ordere in the POS system, process payment via interact machine or cash.
Prepare drinks, serve meals and pastries while ensuring quality and professional service at all times.
Clean the tables in the dining room
Apply hygiene and sanitation rules as well as occupational health and safety rules (Hair must be always tied up, no fake nails or nail polish, no jewelry when working.)
Ensure the cleanliness and constant organization of your workstation. ( including taking garbage and recycling out, sweeping and mopping the floor)
Restock items as we run out.
Meal prep for the day ( including : chopping vegetables and fruit, making sandwiches and wraps, ect)
Keep pastry case full based on demand
Must be able to move quick and keep up, be pro-active and willing to learn and catch on quickly
Have excellent communication skills with student (most of our clients are college student )

A Message from A.M. Bistro Queen location

I want to begin by sincerely thanking all my loyal customers who have supported me over the years, and to warmly welcome all the new faces who have joined recently. Your continued encouragement truly means the world to me.

As many of you know, I’ve long wanted to have a dedicated location for pick-ups outside of my home — a step toward creating a clearer separation between my personal and professional life.

This July, that goal finally became a reality. However, balancing the needs of my Champlain location — which will always remain my top priority — along with this new Queen location has presented its share of challenges. The ongoing RBC construction added another layer of complexity, but in hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to step back and re-evaluate what I truly wanted the Queen location to become.

The Queen space was an important step for the continued growth and needs of the Champlain Bistro. After much reflection and consideration, and keeping in mind what is best for my family — especially while my children are still young — I’ve decided to adjust the vision for A.M. Bistro QUEEN.

Moving forward, A.M. Bistro QUEEN will no longer operate as a restaurant. Instead, it will serve as a dedicated pick-up location.
A set menu will be available for pre-orders, with pick-up dates arranged individually. I’m in the process of creating an online ordering platform, where available items will be listed and extras will be posted as they come up. Foe the time being you can still place your order through messaging me via messager, or sending me an email, or Text message.

This new model will allow me to reduce food waste, manage both locations more efficiently, and continue offering high-quality food to my amazing customers outside of Champlain.

Thank you all for your continued support, patience, and understanding as A.M. Bistro continues to grow and evolve.

Below is the Menu for November 2025. If there is something you would like for the week of November 3rd feel free to message me.
If you dont see what you are looking for, and would like to see if I can make it, feel free to ask - I am Always looking to expand my menu.

Pick ups for for week will always be on Thursday & Fridays at the Queen location with the possibility of Saturdays if needed.

It has long been my dream to serve homemade food, including cheesecake cups, pastries, individual meals, and much more, to the Lennoxville community.
As many of you know, my search for the perfect location in our small town has been challenging. However, I am proud to announce that, as of August 2025, we will be opening a second location. You can visit us for a hot or cold beverage, fresh pastry, or enjoy breakfast, lunch, or supper. We will offer all the items you love and much more.
Champlain students, rest assured that you will still be able to find us upstairs in the student lounge to meet your needs between classes.

Do you sometimes wonder who you are supporting when you order at A.M. Bistro ?

For those of you that do wonder (because many of you have asked over my 5 semesters here) Do you rent at Champlain or are you paid by Champlain. The answer is : I rent from Champlain.

I am the proud owner of A.M. Bistro. Many of the locals know my baking from sweet breads, cakes or cupcakes, homemade soups and my hot chocolate bombs.

My adventure into the public came during cov!d, while I was an accounting student, a mom of 4 and needed to make some extra money.

I fell in love with providing homemade baked goods for the people of Lennoxville (I even delivered to some of my favorite clients)

As time went by, I graduated from my accounting class and life went back to normal, but i wanted something more. I wanted to offer my homemade baked & cooked items to more people.

In March 2023 (10 weeks left in the winter semester) Champlain reached out to me because someone mentioned I was looking for a location to rent.

I learnt everything I needed to get started with owning a physical location in a matter of weeks and opened A.M. Bistro at Champlain April 2023.

There hasn't been a day I have regretted my choice. I get the best of 2 worlds. I own a RESTAURANT, that I have been building for years now. I get to serve the young adults of my home town, giving them the best pricing I can with food that I would serve to my own family. I get to do this 165 days a year and the rest of the year I get to be a stay at home mom, enjoying the holidays and summer breaks with my kids and soon to be husband.

So when you buy from A.M. Bistro, you aren't supporting someone you don't know, you are supporting me & my family, helping to pay for my boys to play hockey, to feed my family, and put a roof over our heads. You are also supporting my employees, who I appreciate their hard work every day

Most of all, I appreciate every single one of you, because without you stopping by for your morning coffee, or quesadilla and cookies, I wouldn't be where I am today.

I've been wanting to rebrand for some time now, when I opened last spring it was done in such a rush that I used the same Logo as my home based bakery, but it's coming up on a year now that I've been that I figured it was perfect timing.

I can't thank my clients enough, I absolutely love my space and serving you all.
