This is Merry Maple. 🍁🍁🍁
We love trees. We plant a tree for every day we're open. 3460 and counting.🌳🌳🌳
10 years ago when we decided on this space for our business she was 2 feet below the wires. The obvious issue was, and is, she is a Maple in a downtown environment, limited space below and above.
😔It is with great sadness and yet undeniable understanding, that we announce Merry's impending removal.
🌱 🌱 Next spring we will plant 80 extra trees (2 for every foot of Merry)
in a Norfolk location

OCTOBER 7TH - BANNED book reading at the café in partnership with Firefly & Fox Books 🧡

To advertise, we thought it’d be fun to get the band The Echelon in on the banned books to advertise the banned book reading (band will not be reading banned books, band just acting like they reading banned books to promote banned book reading)

say that five times fast

Anywho, join us at the café on OCTOBER 7TH, pick up a banned book, and sit in and read with us through the day ✨🖤

Please note, not all fast food packaging is created equal. Only Compostable Biomass can go in the green bins.
FYI: our new green bins + our packaging!

Did you know that our packaging can go in your brand new green bins?

While we’ve always had compostable packaging, it has never been properly compostable BUT when it goes to the landfill and breaks down, it does not release any harmful chemicals and is able to allow regrowth. Up until now, it’s the best we’ve been able to do.

But with these new green bins, you now have much more accessibility in doing your part to compost our packaging!

Yay green bins!!💚

Apple Pie Americanos are BACK!🍎

Our housemade Apple Pie Syrup, in a classic Americano, served with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon!

For those wondering, YES you can get this in a latté too BUT (this is very important) it can only be done with non-dairy options as our house-made syrup can curdle with a surplus of dairy in the drink… if you’re also wondering, oat is our staff favourite for this!

Come on in and give it a whirl today… we think you’ll love it! ✨🍂
