Valley View Golf Club and Restaurant Valley View Golf Club is a community-run, non-profit society. The 9-hole course is located in the Slocan Valley, five minutes north of Winlaw.

We also have a full-service restaurant, hosted by Pennydale Junction!

The Board of Directors of would like to express our sincere thanks for all the community support we’ve received since announcing the recent theft at our course ❤️

Losing much-needed fuel and equipment at the very start of the season has been especially difficult for our volunteer-run, non-profit golf course. Your kind words, messages, and offers of support have meant a great deal to us 🥰

For those who would like to help, we currently have a GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/pj43z-support-valley-view-golf-club) fundraiser to assist us through this setback.

⛳️Another great way to support Valley View is to stop by for a round of golf (or two!), rent a cart, or enjoy a meal at our restaurant

To whoever broke into the maintenance building over the May long weekend and stole tools, personal items, and a season’s worth of fuel: Please understand that Valley View operates on a very limited budget made possible through grants, fundraising, goodwill, and donations from valued community members.

When you damaged our building and stole from us, you did not just hurt a golf course — you hurt the whole community.

You may have assumed you were targeting a facility that caters to wealth and privilege, but the reality is quite different. Valley View is a welcoming, family-friendly space enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds, including many youth, seniors, and low-income families.

We hope you think about that the next time you use the fuel or tools you took.

Unfortunately, Valley View Golf Club, our volunteer-run, non-profit golf course, was broken into this past weekend. Valuable tools, equipment, and fuel were stolen.

If anyone has seen suspicious activity or has information that could help locate the stolen items, please contact the Slocan Lake RCMP at (250) 358-2222. Information can be shared anonymously.

In a rural community, we all play a role in looking out for one another and helping prevent this kind of activity. Your support and vigilance are greatly appreciated.
