In 2024, we sold this large, uniquely and highly voided live edge black walnut slab seen in the first image to a customer, who later made the bespoke and very attractive conference table seen in the subsequent two images.

This slab derived from sawmilling the main first log of a rural farmyard black walnut tree, that EverWoods purchased as part of a salvage operation of over maturing walnut grove trees.

EcoPoxy Flow Cast epoxy and EcoPoxy colors were used to make this wood and epoxy resin tabletop.

What do you think of the overall outcome of the pathway that this slab took from Tree to Table?

Our store and showroom area at Elgin Centre in St. Thomas, Ontario is closed. However, you can continue to purchase products that you see available on our website, according to ordering and inquiry instructions given at our website.

We are taking a short period of transition to relocate to our new location, during which we'll continue to have available the products that you see on our website, plus more. Visit our website and social media regularly to see ongoing new additions.

After six years, EverWoods has decided to close its doors at its store location at Elgin Centre, St. Thomas, Ontario, on November 17th, 2023. We’re moving to a new location and will have a more extensive inventory of available live edge slabs and lumber products in weeks to come. Our online website will be largely unchanged, except for imagery and reference to our (what will soon become former) location at Elgin Centre mall in St. Thomas, Ontario.

We will announce our new location in coming weeks, which will have a less formal and somewhat reduced-size formal retail area, but a much larger overall warehouse inventory area, with many more larger sized slabs and other bespoke wood products than we’ve typically stocked at our Elgin Centre store location.

We will be operating By Appointment Only at our new location, until we state otherwise, as we take the time to transition to our new location. This means that we will not have regular open hours for the time being, and inquiries for in-person appointments will be made by phone or email correspondence.

We will continue to sell the suite of ‘Other Products’ that are available and that can be seen on our website (www.everwoods.ca), including the popular EcoPoxy products, Osmo products, Rampa products, Odie’s Oil, etc. Online inquiries, ordering, and shipping procedures will remain unchanged.

We will post more information about our new location in future social media posts, and we will accordingly provide periodic updates on our website regarding this transition.

Thank-you for supporting our small business during the six years when we were located at Elgin Centre.
