Today, we close the doors on Luz Tacos.
What began in 2018 as a food truck and a simple idea became something far bigger than we ever imagined. It became a place where people gathered, shared meals, celebrated milestones, worked hard, and built connections.
To our team: thank you for your dedication, your heart, and the pride you brought into this kitchen every single day. This journey would not have been possible without you.
To our community: thank you for your trust, your support, and for showing up again and again. You gave Luz Tacos its soul.
We close this chapter with gratitude, pride, and deep appreciation.
Luz Tacos exists because of people — and that will always be its legacy.

Luz Tacos has always been about more than food.
Since 2018, this place has also been a classroom for my daughters — a space where they learned responsibility, teamwork, humility, and pride in doing things well. They showed up, worked hard, practice Spanish and learned what it means to care about people and community.
Sharing this journey with them has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. These are lessons that go far beyond tacos, and they will carry them wherever they go next.
Thank you for supporting a small family business and for being part of their story too. ❤️ Thank you Girls. We had fun making tacos!!!

What started as a humble food truck grew into something far greater than we ever imagined — a place where tacos were shared after long adventures, celebrations were fuelled, friendships were built, and love stories were toasted. Over the years, we’ve had the honour of serving thousands of meals and catering countless weddings and special events — moments we will forever cherish.
This final chapter hasn’t been easy, but it is the right one for us. This decision follows the closure of the kitchen and space where we operate, making it impossible for us to continue. As we prepare to close, we invite you to come by one last time, share a meal, and help us celebrate what this journey has meant.
Please note: our menu has been reduced, and all items are available while supplies last as we wind things down.
