Today we started our very own sourdough journey at the Bistro! Meet Bistro Bob, our new sourdough starter, lovingly created from my trusty home sourdough starter, Bertha. ❤️

Like all good things, great sourdough takes time, patience, and a little bit of magic. Over the next little while, Bistro Bob will be growing strong so we can begin baking beautiful, handcrafted sourdough loaves right here for you.

There’s something special about sourdough—just flour, water, time, and care transformed into a loaf full of flavour, character, and tradition.

Stay tuned to our page as we share Bob’s progress and get closer to pulling fresh, golden sourdough loaves from the oven! 🥖🔥

Who knew one starter could have such a family tree? Bertha would be proud. 😄
