Tonight after close, we hosted a private South Indian cookout, and the Bistro has never smelled better. 🍛✨

The space was overflowing with laughter, great conversation, incredible food, and the kind of community that makes all the hard work worthwhile.

These moments are one of the many reasons we love what we do. Sometimes people connect over a cup of coffee, sometimes over a shared meal, but it’s always about bringing people together, creating memories, and building community.

Feeling incredibly grateful for everyone who shared this evening with us—even if you didn’t make it into the reel. 🥰

And I’m thinking… once I find a little time to plan… cooking events might just need a spot on the calendar. 👀🍲❤️

Today’s Special 🔥

These are one of my favourite things to make and eat when I’m out in the backcountry cooking over a fire. Lately, life has been so busy that getting out into the bush hasn’t been in the cards, so I decided to bring a little taste of the backcountry to the Bistro instead.

Today and tomorrows special is a hearty grilled wrap loaded with seasoned beans, shredded potatoes, salsa, cheese, and sour cream, all wrapped up and toasted to golden perfection on the grill.

Simple, filling, and packed with protein and flavour — the kind of meal that tastes even better around a campfire… or with a coffee at the Bistro. ☕🌲🔥
