We're looking for a Summer Bartender to join our team
Seasonal Position | June to October

Hours: 20–40 hours/week, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Wage: Starting at $19/hour + tips. Higher wages may be offered based on experience and qualifications.

Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Summer Bartender who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and delivers exceptional service with a warm, polished presence. You’ll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences while serving craft cocktails, mixed drinks, and local draft selections in a lively waterfront atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare high-volume mixed drinks and craft cocktails, including seasonal specialties
* Deliver exceptional service to guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant
* Support bar service during busy patio shifts, live events, and peak service times
* Open and close the bar, operate POS systems, handle cash, and maintain accurate till counts
* Assist with inventory restocking, bar prep, batching, garnishes, and daily setup
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
* Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and seamless service

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 2 years bartending experience
* Responsible Beverage Server Certificate (required)
* Ability to balance speed, efficiency, and genuine hospitality
* Comfortable in a busy, tourist-friendly environment
* Flexible availability including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
* Energetic, polished, friendly, and calm under pressure

We’re looking for a Seasonal Front of House Supervisor to join our team at The Summerside Shipyard.

This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, communicates well with both guests and staff, and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

* Lead daily front of house operations
* Manage service flow and guest experience
* Support servers, bartenders, and hosts
* Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently
* Work closely with kitchen leadership during service
* Assist with event coordination
* Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and hospitality
