Thanks Atkinson Landscaping for their great work rebuilding and expanding tee boxes recently for holes 7,8,9. We are a community golf course and want to improve for you.

We really wanted to get the tee boxes done this fall so they are ready for spring. We will be looking this winter for tee box sponsors as we put new signage and yardages up on every hole.

We have more plans for next season to keep investing into the property to improve golfer experience. We know this investment will last a long time and make golfers new to the game have a great time.

Thanks Atkinson Landscaping for getting to work on the 5,6 & 9th tee. We are excited to get them all done this fall so we are ready for spring. We are still looking for tee sponsors as we moved ahead with the project before securing them. BackYard Golf Company

Every tee will have a new range mat, pad and grass tee box where we can. For now we will wait on 4th tee box as we plan the future of the green. Matt Palsenbarg | Golf Coach

Tee Box Update

Thanks to Atkinson Landscaping for doing the work. This month we will finish 8 of 9 tee boxes. For now we will leave #4 until we figure out a future plan.

We have 7 tee box sponsors we will be posting about soon. So we still have 11 spots. We figured we would get the tee boxes done and this winter work on finding the sponsors for them.

As we still continue to improve the golf course we know new mats and tee off pads is a huge improvement. We will also in spring have 5 grass tee boxes to use as well.

NEW BLADES 🎉 With a 3 day turn from Oakcreek Golf & Turf around we have a new blade and new cutting edge. It’s like a brand new mower. It cuts like butter 🧈 and we will have some great greens this fall and next spring.

Some of these kids are playing 4-7 rounds in a day. We have some kids that had never golfed and now are good at golf and played their way into the game. We want to build 100’s and 1000’s of juniors for year to come. We know improving the playing experience is a big step in that. BC Golf LABsters Junior Golf Academy BackYard Golf Company First Tee

Update time with Matt Palsenbarg | Golf Coach about the golf course. A huge pile of sand is a $2500 investment into the greens. We will be getting to work on the reconstruction of #1 tee on Monday thanks to Atkinson Landscaping doing the construction and also sponsoring the hole.

We have 9 tee boxes to rebuild. We have tee mats coming from my buddy Greg Pool at VGC for helping us out with that.

We want great tee and great greens. Both these steps are huge step for this goal. We need the sand to get the greens healthier and prepped for this heat we are getting in summers. Makes for smoother roll and better golfer experience. The tee boxes will be built as we find 16 more tee sponsors. The money raised goes to building the tee itself. This is the best way forward to keep the course affordable and improve it.

Thanks for all the golfers coming back this season. So many regulars and new golfers loving the vibes. Our $99 membership passing 250 kids was a huge step for us proving demand is there. Now let’s make it better. BackYard Golf Company LABsters Junior Golf Academy

Playing a round of golf with a cold b**r? Thanks to Camp B**r Co. for the collaboration with BackYard Golf Company

Hitting the The Clayton Public House before or after the round is a summer staple.

If you are new to golf, place to take the family or an affordable and fun date night. We have a great spot to learn and play golf.

A few projects we have been working on. The new Fairways Mower is lowering scores as chipping onto and around the greens is much more seamless. We are working on clearing more brush and trees so it’s easy to find balls and gain access to play it where maybe you shot not have hit it.

The greens are rolling smooth and we are monitoring the mower height and watering.

Next big project is on course signage and getting the tools we need to start rebuilding some tee boxes.

Our evenings and weekends are getting busy and really appreciate everyone that comes up and supports us. New golfers are welcome.
