A couple of weeks ago, we held a 2-day noodle bowl fundraiser to support baby Ziel and her fight for life. ❤️ (Please check Mighty Z page for more information.)

Even though the fundraiser was announced just a day before, the amount of love and support we received from the community was truly overwhelming. Over the two days, we sold nearly 200 bowls, and we could not be more grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.

A huge thank you to the Women’s and Children Dept, Northside Medical Clinic, Medical/Surgery Dept, Renal Dept, OR, and ER Dept for your incredible support. It was truly heartwarming to see how baby Ziel’s story touched so many hearts.

We were also deeply moved by the kindness of people who reached out to order noodle bowls for their lunch or dinner simply to help support the cause. Seeing the community come together like this was such an amazing and emotional experience for all of us, especially for baby Ziel’s family.

In line with this, Arvin (baby Ziel’s uncle) came on behalf of their family to pick up the $2,000 cheque collected from the fundraiser event. He will be joining the Ambion family this weekend in Edmonton to personally visit and hand over the donation to baby Ziel’s parents.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU everyone for your love, generosity, and support. May your kindness return to you tenfold. God bless you all! ❤️

Wow!!! What an incredible lunch that was!

As much as we were overwhelmed with the amount of orders, we were even more overwhelmed from the amount of support that our community has for baby Ziel!

We were completely sold out for lunch!!!

We deeply apologize to those who waited for quite awhile and for those orders we missed out because of the lunch rush! Rest assured, we will take this as a lesson to do more preparations for the next time! 🤩

We are very grateful for everyone’s tremendous support and thank you for making your meal change a life! ♥️

Join us in turning every meal into a meaningful act of kindness. Mighty Z is a fundraising initiative dedicated to supporting little Ziel in her fight for life. For more details and updates, please visit and follow the Mighty Z page.

On April 29 and 30, Spoon and Bowl Bistro invites you to be part of this cause. For every vermicelli noodle bowl ordered, 50% of the proceeds will go directly toward supporting baby Ziel and her family’s daily expenses while away from home.

Your support will be the secret ingredient for Little Ziel’s hope to recovery, one plate at a time.

Dine in or take out with us and be part of Ziel’s journey toward healing. (Please note: DoorDash orders are not included.)
