A memorable evening at Woodroad.

Last month, we had the pleasure of creating a private dining experience inspired by the tradition of gathering around the table. In partnership with Cape Concierge, we crafted a custom menu featuring the very best local ingredients, served family style to encourage sharing, conversation, and connection-just like a Cape Breton kitchen party or Sunday supper.

From freshly shucked oysters and local seafood to seasonal ingredients sourced close to home, every dish celebrated the flavours and traditions that make Cape Breton so special.

A Saltwater Social favourite. Tender North Atlantic shrimp tossed in our house-made dressing with fresh herbs, crisp and bright citrus notes, served open-faced on toasted artisan bread. Finished with seasonal garnishes and edible flowers for a dish that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
