Imagine that 2 broke girls put our life saving into starting a small restaurant. (yes, it is based on our true story) Suddenly something happens and you are struggling to run it when your customers aren’t allowed inside.
•
What most people don’t know is delivery companies take 25-35% (sometimes even more) of what people are paying for the meals you pour your heart and soul into. On top of that they take delivery fees off you again!
•
If you want your favorite local restaurants to still be around after the pandemic, please take an extra minute to order on the restaurant’s page, or just call. They will be more than happy to hear the sound of your human voice! rather than the sound of delivery apps on the tablet.
•
That’s why today we are happy to announce that during this difficult time Khao gaeng is partnered with iRover volunteer contactless driver.
•
It’s free for everyone but drivers do take food bank items, donations and event tips if customers feel like it. It is 100% touchless volunteer process means customers need to come pick the order up from the car (street or driveway) directly – no buzzers, elevators or doorbells and no collection of cash for the safety of everyone.
•
Currently they have 15 volunteers and their window of operation is 4:30 to 8:30 pm.
They have capacity to help other independent Dine-In restaurants in the South Etobicoke area.

Lets support our local restaurants and the Daily Bread Food Bank through COVID-19.

We’re working hard on keeping you and our staffs safe during this difficult time.That is why we provided 2 spots of hand sanitizer inside the store one at the front door and another on the pick up counter.

Our staff also sanitizing everything in the store several times per day ex. door k***s, table surface and credit card machine. Your healthy hands and full stomach is our top priority.
