On June 14th, we’ll be celebrating 16 years of Enoteca Sociale. Sixteen years of handmade pasta, flowing wine, first dates turned to anniversaries, incredible staff, and wonderful regulars that have shown us support from every neighbourhood of the city.

Lambrusco!

As we transition into summer, one thing is certain: it’s always Lambrusco season. This 2022 bottle of Stile Antico from Marchesi di Ravarino is a blend of Salamino and Sorbara from Emilia-Romagna, of course.

With upfront notes of black and blue berries, it carries subtle layers of earthiness, juniper leaf, and a gentle balsamic finish. Soft on the palate with balanced acidity and delicate tannins, it’s just as suited for aperitivo as it is for the rest of the meal.

Perfect for sharing with loved ones, celebratory toasts, or simply a long weekend dinner. Pair it with a ton of dishes from olives and arancini to our classic Roman pastas.

Warning: this is the kind of bottle that disappears very quickly!

Casale del Giglio!

Our latest wine feature comes from Lazio, where the estate has been shaping its approach since 1967. They focus on a research-driven approach to winemaking, highlighting native grapes from the region like Bellone and Cesanese.

Casale del Giglio Bellone is fresh and mineral with bright acidity and pairs perfectly with our cavolo e radicchio.

Cesanese Lazio Rosso IGT is soft and spiced with notes of cherry, and goes best with our pork and chestnut truffle rigatoni.

Anthium Bellone is fuller and floral with a touch of tropical fruit and is just right for our black cod.

Make sure to swing by and try these wines before they’re gone.

We’re excited to let you know that on Friday, May 8th, at 7 p.m., we’ll be welcoming Tornatore Winery from Mount Etna for an evening of delicious Sicilian food and incredible wines! It’s the perfect occasion for date night, a gift for a friend, or an early mother’s day treat.
