Just to let you all know, if you're around the Beaches area tonight and looking for something to do, Ann Page will be hosting Poetry on the Beach: "Let the Stones Cry Out."

It's a kind of poetic relay race that starts at The Shelter at the bottom of Kippendavie (one street East of Woodbine) at 7:15.

It should be an evening of dramatic and insightful delights :)

The weather is hellish. The construction dystopian in presence. LET'S PARTY!

This weekend, Saturday June 23rd and Sunday June 24th we're sticking it to the cement mixers with cookies, coffee and mishmash of art, jewellery, vintage accessories and perhaps a bit of jam.

When life gives you lemons, you squeeze those lemons.
We have home made lemonade too!

Easy come, easy go, such is the circle of life! A good friend of ours, and a readily identifiable personality in the community, is being taken from us by the St. Lawrence Market area. To celebrate his time with us, we congregate at the Cafe, Friday at 7:30 to revel in and reflect on the joys with which this man has touched our lives.

Come one and all as while Michael graces the community one more time with his Art and his Humor, and probably his weiner dogs. We are so hoping that somebody knits them sweaters that look like hot dog buns.
