Today we are showcasing Pale Blue Dot Bakery & Confections

Known for their delicious baked treats and attention to quality, Pale Blue Dot Bakery & Confections is returning to the Trenton Station Fresh & Local Market for another season of homemade goodness.

Named after the famous photograph of Earth taken by the Voyager 1 space probe, Pale Blue Dot Bakery began in Antigonish in 2020 and has continued to grow ever since. After completing the Baking & Pastry Arts program at NSCC Akerley, owner and baker Callum Macneil has built a reputation for creating comforting, high-quality baked goods while continually refining his skills and expanding his menu.

From cookies and scones to cakes, rolls, and other freshly baked treats, every product is carefully tested, perfected, and crafted with attention to detail. Callum's commitment to quality extends beyond the final product to every step of the baking process, ensuring customers receive the very best with each batch.

After joining us during the 2025 season, Pale Blue Dot Bakery & Confections quickly became a favourite among many of our market visitors, and we're very happy to welcome them back again this year. Having settled in Trenton, Callum is looking forward to continuing to grow his business and become an even bigger part of our local community.

As a half-season vendor, you'll find Pale Blue Dot Bakery & Confections at the market every other week beginning with our opening market on Sunday, June 7, followed by June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, August 30, September 13, and September 27.

Today we are showcasing Our Hidden Home Florals

This is Morgan, from Our Hidden Home Florals second season with the Trenton Station Fresh & Local Market, and we’re so happy to welcome both her and her beautiful flowers back again this year.

Morgan’s bouquets always bring so much beauty and joy to the market space. Her flowers have a soft, whimsical style that feels cheerful, artistic, and truly special — and they always brighten our day. We’re also especially excited that some of her fresh-cut flowers will be available at the cafe throughout the season as well.

Beyond her incredible talent, Morgan is simply a wonderful person and someone we absolutely adore having as part of our market community. She is also a phenomenal photographer specializing in family, newborn, motherhood, maternity, lifestyle, studio, heirloom, and film photography all based locally.

Today we are showcasing Sugar Canes Bakery

We’re so excited to have Sugar Canes Bakery joining us as a full-season vendor for the 2026 Trenton Station Fresh & Local Market season.

Over the past season, Sugar Canes Bakery quickly became a favourite among our market community — and honestly, we completely understand why. Their baked goods are wholesome, comforting, and absolutely delicious.

Not long ago, we were gifted one of their beautiful Biscoff Drip Cakes and it was rich, decadent, and incredibly tasty. We’re also big fans of their fruit danishes and date squares and can’t wait to get our hands on more of them this market season.

From homemade biscuits to cookies, squares, and sweet treats made with simple ingredients and plenty of care, Sugar Canes Bakery brings the kind of baking that feels warm, nostalgic, and homemade in the very best way.
