Loose Candy Keys

Part of our Sour Patch Bys Series, Loose Candy Keys is inspired by memories as kids going to your local general store for a cold pop, chips, and a bag of loose candy. General stores were scattered everywhere, seemingly taking pride in their wide selection of candy, with sour keys always a favourite. Loose candy was sold for a penny a piece—the brown bag was free. For us, it was Bert’s in Lower Jenkins Cove, now home to Split Rock Brewing Co. Years later, still serving sour keys—imagine that. This bright, tangy sour is light, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink.

On September 11, 2001, 38 planes were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland — bringing thousands of stranded passengers to a small town known for its hospitality and welcome.

Inspired by the iconic international lounge — often referred to as “Canada’s most important modernist room” — and the spirit of connection it came to represent, we’re proud to introduce 38 Planes.

An International Pilsner brewed in collaboration with the International Lounge Foundation CYQX.

Inspired by our dog Brooke and our cat Beans, this honey brown captures that cozy “Honey, I’m home” feeling — the moment your pets greet you at the door.

Brewed with honey, Munich malt, and a touch of toasted grains — smooth, nutty, and easy drinking.
