“Takenaka has become one of my favourite Japanese spots in Vancouver. I always look forward to their beautifully presented set meals, which are balanced, fresh, and satisfying. The onigiri are made to order with perfectly seasoned rice and generous fillings, and they’re some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan.

Their uni options are another highlight whenever they’re available - fresh, creamy, and definitely worth ordering. You can really tell they put a lot of care into the quality of their ingredients and presentation.“
