2025 - what, a YEAR. I’m grateful, blessed, positioned and purposeful after the last 12 months of working with so many of your families.
•
When I started this business over five years ago, my “why” was to give the gift of time back to families. That was originally through family dinners but now it’s also a gift to parents to either have more time with their kids at the end of the night or preferred, much needed time for themselves. No more added meal planning, shopping, packed lunches or wasted money. The food waste is down considerably, the palettes are expanding and the daily hugs really keep this operation in high gear.
•
To my meal prep clients, you will always be the backbone of this operation and I’m so grateful to be able to continue to nourish your families outside of school hours. Cooking classes grew in waves this year and hint hint, look out for 2026 because we are going BIGGER than ever.

To end the year and kickstart the holiday season I am PROUD to announce that in the month of December I pledged to donate 10% of profits to the incredible organization . 25 children in the lower mainland will be set up for weekend success with nutritious and delicious offerings to get through the weekend when they don’t have access to hot lunch at school. Know when you work with me, there are other people getting what they need to not just get by, but to thrive. Countless community fridge and pantry drops were made, charity meals were prepared and delivered and special silent snacks were dropped to those that neeeed a comforting bite. I couldn’t do good without you but now I’m ready for a long winters nap. Cheers to 2025! Get ready for the next one because I’ve got some big, family focused plans 🥳

Dear clients, hot lunch families and friends,

As 2025 comes to a close it marks the busiest year since starting this business 5 lovely years ago. That said, it’s put a strain on being able to contribute my time to organizations I believe in with facetime projects. With that in mind I have decided to pair up with for a charitable effort to donate 10% of December profits to give back to an organization making such a difference to many families right here in BC.

In BC, thousands of families struggle to put food on the table and hunger can set a child back for life.
Backpack Buddies is tackling childhood hunger in BC by putting food directly into the hands of those
children who need it most. Many children rely heavily on school meal programs but over the weekend may not eat at all. This is ‘the weekend hunger gap.’ For a cost of only $25, Backpack Buddies addresses this crisis by filling a child’s backpack every Friday with a bag full of kid approved meals to last the weekend. This school year, the program will provide food for 6,800 kids across BC each weekend.
