Blue Nun’s freeze-drying process locks-in colour, flavour and nutrients, making it far superior to the conventional drying process. As of Monday, July 17, Mugi has closed its Annex location. We would like to thank everyone for their support & patronage over the last 5 years. We've been overwhelmed by the love & kindness expressed to us during our last week in business. We will miss our customers dearly, many of whom have become friends over the years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we will cherish our time spent at Bathurst & Bloor. We will keep our Instagram account active, to post updates on Mugi's future developments in Vancouver.

After 4.5 years, Mugi will be closing its Annex location and relocating to Vancouver, BC. Our last day of business will be Sun., July 16, 2023.

Although there have been many challenges since opening in May 2019, we feel privileged to have had the customer base that we did, supporting us in our quest to provide a unique alternative to the Thai food scene in Toronto.

We've made many friends here over the years, we are grateful to all who have shown interest in Mugi. We wish you all the very best, and hope to see you again further down the road.

Mugi's refreshing new soup for May is Tom Kha!! (A light coconut milk-based broth with lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaf and a dash of lime juice.) We add bok choy and tofu, as well as certified organic Lion's Mane & Maitake mushrooms for some serious umami flavour. Tom Kha is available as a soup starter or a main with noodles. (Organic Lion's Mane & Maitake are also available in our Mushroom Basil Fried Rice.)
