👩🏻‍🦯 Being ME Vancouver Let's Get Movin' 👩🏻‍🦯

🌧️ Due to unpredictable weather, we've decided to postpone this Sunday's hike and social event to *lAUGUST 9th. Dog Mountain is a technical trail, and doing it in dry conditions will keep everyone safer and more comfortable.

Here are the updated details:

📅 Date: Sunday, August 9th, 2026
🕦 Time: Meet at 10:30am at the Dog Mountain Trailhead
🌞 Dress Code: Comfy and weather appropriate. Don't forget your sunblock and hat!
🥪 Bring: Water, lunch, and snacks for this 3 hour hike (we'll pause for a snack break at the top!)

🌞 We're looking forward to making beautiful memories and bonding with our sisters in faith.

We're so excited to welcome Tanweer to Being ME Girl Talk: BFF – Building Friendships Forever!

Tanweer has dedicated her life to lifting up women and children. She helped build Nisa Helpline and Nisa Homes — safe spaces for women and children in need — and continues that work today as a Board Director at Nisa Foundation. 🤝

As the founder of Ilham Wellness & Retreat, she creates spaces where girls and women can grow in confidence and just be themselves — exactly what Girl Talk is all about! 🌸

She also serves as BC Outreach Officer for Justice for All Canada, standing up for dignity and justice for all — because that's what true sisterhood looks like. 🌿
