i began ... and ended ... my last meal for hannukah w/ a knish that just f'd me up. the amount of effort it obviously took to make seem easy is astounding. i know this to be true because things this good don't come w/o an immense amount of toil. intimate, full of energy, and yet incredibly serene all at the same time... these are the kinds of meals that make me miss writing. damn Canada - you tasty.

Just got tipped off to & I went for second lunch. This is the type of place Atlanta needs to blow the f**k up. Diego knows pizza & his pizza "stall", inside a Carniceria, is charming AF. go support this dude.

Need to get back to try a whole pie.

The carniceria is immediately adjacent to the Aldi on Roswell Rd. Hard right once you enter ... thank me late.

Alright, folks—the FB Dining Series is back! And this time, we’ve got the Duck Man himself, Donald Young, aka , the mastermind behind . Donald and his Chicago-based crew are migrating to our fair city for one night only, serving up a 7-course tasting menu at Taqueria Del Sol in West Midtown.

If you’re not familiar with Donald, here’s the deal: he’s got a star, a semi-finalist nod, and a trophy case full of accolades. He's a bad ass in the kitchen & I had the pleasure of dining at Duck Sel, his speakeasy supper club, and as the kids say—it was 🔥🔥🔥. His food is high-end, but the vibe is chill, and that's the energy you'll get here.

On the drinks side, Melissa Davis (TdS’s resident beverage maven) is teaming up with DY to craft a killer beverage lineup. As always, proceeds from libations sales will go to , so you can sip, savor, and support a great cause all at once.

Alright folks,
It's almost game time. In less than 24-hours, tickets for go on sale. We're hosting famed chef Jun Yajima ( / ), straight outta Japan. She will serve you a 4-course meal that we all hope blows your mind. You can get all the details on the reservation page (linked in my bio) but the short of the long is: don't miss this. I suggest you load the site a little early and just refresh the page at noon. 

While this dining series is something I put on ... I am only able to put it on BECAUSE of the great support I get from people up and down the food chain (pardon the pun).

One of the most lauded & acclaimed chefs in all of is flying across the globe to serve her ramen (& a few other special dishes) here in Atlanta for 3-days only. 

She's a true master of the craft. In a sea of great ramen options, Jun's small shop stands out & thus fills up in a matter of seconds, if not minutes. You have to book in advance before you're even told the address. She's so popular she can't post her address publicly.

Together with , one of Japan's most noteworthy ramen aficionados, I'll be hosting you all for a multi-course meal. Service kicks off on Friday February 23rd and runs through that Sunday. We will be holding FB07 at 316 Church St in Decatur, GA, the former home to . I'm beyond humbled that they have allowed me into this space. This event would not be happening w/oBrush's support.

As for the meal itself, in addition to Jun's glorious ramen bowls, she will be serving a variety of accompanying dishes. We're still sourcing a few ingredients, but rest assured we'll have some truly awesome food for you all & you won't go home hungry. We are limited to hosting just 150 customers each day, so we highly recommend you book tickets as soon as possible.

But wait ... there's more! As if this wasn't enough, has been kind enough to sponsor the event. Having their support allows us to donate proceeds from the bar sales to . So not only will you be eating well, but you'll be doing good for the restaurant community at large.

Oh, and check this out .... we've got on noodle duty. These Nashville based noodle magicians are producing the noodles in chef Yajima's distinct style.
