The historic Pendray Inn and Tea House was built as a private residence in the late 1890's. Today, it boasts a unique collection of 9 distinctive suites all with their own personality and charm. The interior of the mansion boasts beautiful Tea House, located on the first floor of the Mansion, offers delicious traditional afternoon teas in a classy environment that will bring you back to the past. The Pendray Tea House is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00pm. The mansion occupies a prominent location on the edge of Victoria's Inner Harbour and is surrounded by elegantly landscaped gardens, wandering pathways and lovely fountains. In addition to the Pendray Inn and Tea House, two other historic buildings; the Middle House and the Judges House, add to the charm of the surrounding grounds. The Pendray Inn and Tea House offers authenticity, warmth and character. It ideally caters to those looking for a romantic getaway, couple's retreat, social or corporate guests.

Tea shared. Awareness raised. $3,434 to make a difference. 💜

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday, October 18, for Afternoon Tea in support of Canadian Royal Purple’s Purple Thursday initiative.

For our third year supporting this important cause, 50% of the day’s Afternoon Tea revenue amounted to a $3,434 donation to Canadian Royal Purple, helping raise awareness of the connection between intimate partner violence and traumatic brain injury.

Every table helped make this possible. Thank you for gathering with purpose.

For the third consecutive year, Pendray Tea House is proud to support Purple Thursday, an initiative of the Canadian Royal Purple Society and BC Brain Injury Association, raising awareness of the connection between intimate partner violence and traumatic brain injury.

On Sunday, October 18, simply book and enjoy our Traditional Afternoon Tea as usual, and 50% of all Afternoon Tea revenue from the day will be donated to Canadian Royal Purple in support of this important cause.

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our team at the Huntingdon Hotel & Suites and Pendray Inn & Tea House proudly wear orange, while reflecting on what reconciliation asks of us beyond a single day. Our commitment is to continue learning and to turn that learning into meaningful action throughout the year.

We are proud to be recognized by Indigenous Tourism BC as a Friend of ITBC - Allyship Tier of the Wolf, reflecting significant engagement and a commitment to humility, understanding and education.

Closer to home, we are also honoured to continue our annual support of the Victoria Native Friendship Centre, through a $2 contribution for every occupied room night for the week, helping reinvest a portion of our success back into the community.

We are grateful to live, work and welcome visitors on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, represented today by the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm Nations, and recognize that territorial acknowledgement carries with it a responsibility to continue learning, listening and building respectful relationships.
