So, the weather is turning and the time for hot dogs and beer on the terrace is coming to a close. This will be our last weekend and we're running a special to say thank you to all those that supported us over the summer...you guys are awesome and it's been my great pleasure meeting and chatting with you!

Not opening as a full service restaurant BUT starting July 1st at11:30 we'll be doing a pop-up out back of the Pot...think food truck. Grab a fancy dog and beer: Mexican dog, Buffalo Blue Cheese, Chili dog, and a few more that I can't remember. To go or enjoy on the deck. See you soon!

After much waffling on my part, I've decided that instead of closing completely for the winter, for the time being we will just reduce hours. Many regular customers have asked me not to close so I'll give it a shot and see if it's viable. Effective now Pot au Feu hours will be Friday 11:00 -8:30, Saturday 10:00-8:30 and Sunday 10:00 -4:00.

Yay!!!! Back up and running Friday and Saturday nights. Chef has made a full recovery.

Sooooo....series of very unfortunate events this past month culminating in my chef contracting a virus that sees him unable to work. Hours for operation for the next while will have to be 11-4 Wednesday thru Friday, and 10-4 Saturday and Sunday.
We've had quite a few calls lately enquiring about my sanity (lol) in not being open evenings but the truth is I top out at 70 hours a week and can do no more. If anyone would like a job in the kitchen please feel free to contact me!!
Thanks to all my friends/regulars who have shown so much support, it is truly appreciated and why I do this at all.

Good Morning Wakefield and all! So, about the Pot au Feu ( there has been much speculation and many inquiries lol). I am pleased to say that we will be reopening as I've finally found a chef to manage the kitchen, welcome aboard Steve Mahon! Our target date is June 7th, hours dependant on the staff we can line up. Which brings me to the next issue...we will be looking for servers, dishwashers and potentially kitchen help. Serving shifts would be Wednesday thru Friday with a potential weekend shifts. Kitchen position dependant on hours we can open which depends on servers hired.
I look forward to seeing you all again and yes I will be doing brunches Saturdays and Sundays!

Hi all...please note that effective Sunday September 9th the hours at the Pot will be changing. We will only be open Wednesday thru Sunday days, closed evenings. Thank you to all our regulars for making this a summer to remember!!!
