STAFF PICKS - Ammarah Edition 🍰 💜

Have you ever wondered what our go-to items are at work? Well, here are Ammarah’s picks!

Ammarah is quite literally our jack of all trades and master of ALL things at the shop. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her not be good at anything … it’s quite annoying actually. You’ve likely seen her in our kitchen running service or behind the bar pouring the most gorgeous lattes - but she’s also the nucleus of everything you see on our social media (including these posts). Social media doesn’t come super naturally to me - but she makes it look effortless. She frequently sends me screen recordings of how to do things because I’m inept 🙃. Her patience is actually unmatched - which is a good thing because she needs a lot of it dealing with me every day 😅

The amount of time, creativity, and energy she puts into everything she does is astounding - not just within the shop but outside too. She’s the face behind .at.heartsy and the most insane cake decorator. If you don’t follow her already, you’re a silly goose, and you should 🙂‍↕️ She’s the most loyal, empathetic, and kindhearted human - she really deserves all the recognition and support.

✨ a little recap of our event celebrating 4 years of ✨

When Erin approached me about hosting this event I couldn’t say yes fast enough! I mean, books, coffee, and tattoos? Literally me 😂

Not only that, I was so excited to host a celebration for a fellow female business owner. To me she truly epitomizes what we need more of in the small business space: someone who spreads love, kindness and support for others. Lifting others and their businesses up does not take away from our own. Instead it creates a community of people who can be there for each other during the hard times, and provide the loudest cheering during the good ones.

A huge thank you to and .jacobs for filling the space with your incredible talents. And of course to all the people who bought tickets and brought so much energy to the shop! 📖

A final thank you as always to the reel diva - .does.things Gosh I appreciate you and truly don’t understand how you remember to film content because I struggle to just deal with what’s in front of me 😅
