More than just a one-off photo op 📸

This is our everyday life at the cafe.

Sweet Sparrow is here with us, each and every single day.

They are observing it all: learning the back pocket tricks of our bakes, listening to the varied cracks of coffee beans roasting, shining a toothy smile to our delightful customers, and more than we can even notice.

It's lovely, and we're fortunate to be able to have Sparrow with us at all times.

It's also a lot.

It never fails to amaze us...
..how dramatic the change is to these little pebble-like beans once they're rolling in a heated drum for only a few minutes.

It's bitterly cold out there today. We're grateful for the warmth given off by our 80+ yr old cast iron roaster to help thaw our bones.
