🍕Grateful for Love, Fearless in Farewell 🍕
Hello everyone, this is Wendy. As CrusTop Pizza Project reaches its third anniversary, it’s time for us to say a temporary goodbye. March 25th will be our last day serving freshly baked pizzas, and some flavors that are sold out will not be restocked. From March 26th to we completed the final step, we will only be selling frozen pizzas in very limited quantities—once they’re gone, they’re gone. On Early April we will officially close our doors.
CrusTop was born during the pandemic, and its ability to grow against the odds is all thanks to the incredible support of the people of Winnipeg. There have been so many beautiful moments that I will cherish forever—Wendy is truly grateful!
I will be keeping the CrusTop brand, and after taking some time to reset, I may transition into a frozen pizza supplier. I will also continue running LoveScone: Chilled Cream Cheese Scones, so you’ll likely see more of us at local markets in Winnipeg. Please continue supporting me and local brands—I will do my best to bring you great products!
Lastly, I want to introduce my buyer, Urmil, who will be launching an exciting new brand featuring a unique take on Naan. Through our interactions, I’ve come to admire his precision, efficiency, and attention to detail, very honest personality, following and respecting market business rules, and I have no doubt that he will bring the same dedication to his new brand. Like me, he is an immigrant working hard to build a life in our second home, Winnipeg, Canada. I hope we can all continue to share kindness and bring more hope and opportunities to this wonderful city.
Even though I won’t be seeing everyone daily anymore, I’d still love to stay connected. Whether it’s restaurant entrepreneurship, lifestyle tips, fashion inspiration, pet care, or fitness—I’m also a personal trainer with experience in bikini competition prep and fitness nutrition, and I’d love to exchange ideas with all of you.
