When I started my own company 6 years ago I specialized in coffee and espresso equipment. And that included panini grills and thee odd basic stuff. I never thought of other stuff when I started hence why I named my company Java Monk Coffee Services. But today Java Monk offers service on dishwashers, ovens, ice machines, tap sets, water filtration (r.o units), toasters, warmers, juice machines, and you name it lol. We cant do gas. And we are limited to cooling systems. But we will let you know. Lately we been working with Subway and McDonald's equipment a new direction in the business. Microwave oven systems, fry dispensers, bun toaster, etc... Here are some recent projects

Out with the old and in with the new. Tim Hortons is starting to move out Schraerer Coffee Art and rolling in with the new Thermoplan Suprema. As a tech there is always a transition when this happens learning a new machine and waiting a few years before you really find out the newer machines weaknesses. When you get familiar with a machine for a decade its just a no brainer fixing them. Thermoplan has been around for the last few decades already in Starbucks they make a solid machine.

When I attended a conference in Las Vegas I was thinking heck the amount of Espresso and Coffee equipment just on the strip alone could keep a guy busy as much as he wanted. You could practically live in one of the hotels and just have your parts stock right in your room. Probably have to get a special permit to drive some form of cart around because you wouldnt want to haul all your tools and parts by walking lol. Youd have to have major security clearance to too. I wouldn't want to be there and do that tho to busy for me. But, my brain does think and dream all the time about business ideas.

Another successful install at McDonald's. I'm a fan of the manufacturer of this espresso machine. Thermoplan has a long history over the past 2 decades in Starbucks and I have seen some of their machines with 1.5 million or more drink counters on them. That's impressive.

There is a first time for everything they say lol. Got this Garland oven back up and running for Mcds. Pretty basic concept. I always have a little anxiety when it comes to a new piece of equipment. Not because it doesn't operate like most other ovens I've worked on or the electronic process of most equipment, but because it takes time for the small things like how the panels are on, the programming entry, obtaining the trouble shooting and parts manuals. It all takes time. Where as other equipment you just know the problem and have all that.

I drove 8 hours to fix this problem. Lol, building maintenance 🤣 trying to tighten up the hot water tap. "Hot water tap not dispensing". But they also strip the threads on the tap itself🤦‍♂️.
