This season hit different for us.
You might have noticed a few changes — your favorite flavors weren’t always available, and things were a little quieter than usual.

In March, our beloved Ira — the heart and soul of our ice cream production — was diagnosed with a malicious, very aggressive cancer.

Ira had been with us for 3.5 years. She fled the war in Ukraine and built a new home here in Berlin. With unmatched dedication, strength, and kindness, she became part of our family — giving her heart and soul every single day.

When her diagnosis came, we shifted our priorities to give back what we had received from her: support, care, time, and love. We stood by her through hospital visits and chemo treatments, hoping for a miracle.

Sadly, after only seven months, we lost this fight.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Ira passed away peacefully.
She’s now going home — to her husband in Chernihiv.

We are truly heartbroken.
In Berlin Ira leaves behind her daughter and her three sweet grandchildren she so dearly wanted to see grow up.

We’re deeply grateful to the teams DRK Westend & Köpenick hospitals and the for doing everything in their hands to help her fight the cancer and ease her journey.

Ira, we will miss you beyond words. Life isn’t fair sometimes.
Nothing will ever be quite the same without you here. 🤍

🎁FCKNG Corona Christmas Cake🎁
This year we created a very special Special for Christmas.
Since 2 years Corona is around and challenging our lifes.
Not only me, but all of my gastronomy colleagues are longing for an end of Corona to gain social and economic security again.
Having a child with special needs who needs regular check ups in hospitals to ensure his health, we were significantly affected also in a very personal way. Important exams had to be postponed.
The Virus SUCKS, having it still around sucks - and we wanted to give it a body to turn it into an artistic piece. Whoever is fed up by it- now you can get it, eat it, destroy it! We claim that this new Katchi variant of Corona virus is the only one safe to take home and share with your family, friends and all others!
The cake weighs around 3,3 kg, which equals around 16-25 servings, depending how hungry Onkel Walter is 😉. The price is 89 EUR. You can pre-order it by sending a mail to [email protected] with your full name and contact details.

- Du liebst Eis fast so sehr wie Deine Mummy, Deine beste Freundin, besten Freund oder Deinen Hund oder Deine Katze
- Du bist mindestens 18 Jahre alt und kannst regelmäßig Schichten übernehmen (sorry, kein Schulferienjob)
- Du hast schon erste Erfahrungen in der Gastronomie und eine Bescheinigung nach § 43 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 IfSG (sogenannte „rote Karte“, aber nicht die vom Fußball)
- Du hast immer ein Lächeln für unsere Kunden- auch in stressigen Situationen, zum Beispiel, wenn das Eis runtergefallen ist und noch 10 Kunden in der Schlange warten
Gute Deutschkenntnisse und ein paar Englischkenntnisse (1 Scoop, 2 scoops, you know what I mean)
- Du kannst unsere Eissorten schon fast im Schlaf aufsagen
