Ghormeh Sabzi — the main character of Persian cuisine.
A slow-simmered herb stew made with parsley, cilantro, chives and fenugreek, combined with tender lamb or beef, red kidney beans, and dried limes for that signature tangy twist.
This was my absolute favorite dish growing up as the child of an Iranian father — the smell alone feels like love.
Aromatic, savory, deep.
Served with fluffy basmati rice — comfort food on another level.

I know I said dates and stuff on Tuesday…well it’s Wednesday.
Just wondering if you’re okay with the 19th of July to keep a backyard party?
In case you forgot how nice it was over the past years since 2019, here you go…
