Highlanders Bar is the place to go when you want you enjoy great drinks without all the noise & tv’s you find in most places, we occasionally have live music (check our events for details), but you will normally find the loudest noise is just people talking. We have a fantastic selection of whisky, rum and bourbon. There are a number of craft gins with matching tonics and to round it all off we have 17 taps of beer, one hand pull cask and around 100 different types of bottled beer - check our ‘Beer List’ on UNTAPPD, you will find a link to it on our page (we also have the only UNTAPPD badge here in Aarhus). Our range of beers changes regularly - but you will always find great craft beers from Denmark, the Nordics and the UK, from the likes of Ebletoft Gardbryggeri, Omnipollo, To Øl, Mikkeler, Wild Beer, Buxton and more. Beers from FUR, Brains, Einstok and JOpen are regulars as are firm favorites from the UK like London Pride and Spitfire. For those Brewdog fans out there, we were the first Brewdog DogDealer here in denmark and you will always find a great range of their beers both on tap and in bottles, including a new international exclusive each month.
Our cask ales come mostly from the UK from the likes of Tiny Rebel, Wild Beer, Gypsy Hill, Adnams and Black Isle too name just a few. Our great range of beers and our knowledge has again in 2018 resulted in an award from the Danish Beer Enthusiasts. We host regular tastings for small and larger groups - whether you are interested in beer, whisky, rum or gin. We offer tastings that introduce you to the drink of your choice as well as more in depth tastings for those who already have some knowledge. We also have tastings & events for bachelor/bachelorette (polteråbnd) parties. What is a pub without food, we offer typical british style pub food at reasonable prices - you can enjoy freshly made fish’n’chips, pies, bangers and burgers. Knowledgeable members of staff are always willing to help with making a selection or to help you understand a little more - so if there is something you would like to know, just ask...
