Playtime with Morten Svendsen & Rose Eken (ft. Bloodymary Oyster)

Playtime returns this week! On Wednesday 17.06, we’re welcoming Morten Svendsen and Rose Eken from to host the evening.
For the occasion, the kitchen couldn’t resist an oyster-themed special. Expect our Henri IV oysters served with a Japanese-inspired Bloody Mary mignonette — a small tribute to Rouge Oysters and their love of all things briny.
Records, oysters, affordable drinks, and good company. A pretty good way to spend a Wednesday if you ask us!

About Playtime

Playtime invites key figures from Copenhagen’s food and bar community — many of whom are dedicated music collectors — to shape the night through sound, atmosphere, and small details across the evening.

Morten and Rose have spent years creating experiences around food, hospitality, and gathering people together. This time, they’ll be sharing a selection of records from their personal collection.

Stelios has been working on a new selection of cocktails for the menu ✨

1 — Ichigo’s

“A refreshing and unbelievably summer-y drink, comprised of Milky Oolong tequila, lime, agave, sansho pepper and strawberry salt.
It reads salty and fresh, while still having a nice sour and fruity backbone, and a creamy texture.”

2 — A glimpse into the process of bringing new cocktails to life.

3 — Jade

“An eye-catching take on the Co**se Reviver , using Garden Sorrel and blue Curacao to give it a unique turquoise color.
Using Rum, Blue Curacao, Cocchi Americano, Lime, Sorrel, and Absinthe;
This cocktail has marzipan notes, with grassy and earthy complexity.”

4 — Wagashi Fizz

“A Mandarin and Vodka based fizz using Pink Pepper and Aperol to elongate the subtle floral notes of the citrus fruits.
Served with a Matcha Rim to create an optional grassy contrast to the drink.”

Five dates this week, a brand new series, and our first-ever Sunday session. Familiar Faces kicks off with the Kinyōbi crew stepping behind the decks to share records they’ve been collecting, loving, and living with.

𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, Mendon joins us all the way from Argentina for a slow and textured set spanning New Wave, Trip-Hop, and early House, gradually building into deeper, hypnotic territory as the energy shifts. No rush, no abrupt turns — just a narrative that grows with the room.

𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, Ivan Dallmann joins us for the first time, bringing an immersive selection that travels through the warmest corners of Soul, the classiest cuts of Jazz, the sexiest grooves of 80s Funk, and some of the deepest sounds of 90s House.

Oh, and by the way — we have a terrace now! That takes our 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒓 on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 to another level. As always, from 16:00–18:00: cheap Highballs, Chicken Karaage, and music curated by staff and guests. An easy way to start the weekend.

Later that evening, another new face joins our roster. This time, DJ Camov takes over the booth for a smooth journey through electronica, touching on classic deep house sounds and beyond.

𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, Barbara Hryciuk joins us with soulful classics and underground discoveries, celebrating exploration and connection through music.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, our Head Chef Adrien Norwood takes over the decks with a selection of personal favourites. Expect alternative gems alongside a healthy dose of Pop, Funk, and Soul.

June is here! Fresh formats. Familiar feeling.

This month, we’re shaking things up. For the first time, we’re introducing Sunday programming, alongside a new series, Familiar Faces, where our lovely staff takes over the booth.

Playtime returns with Morten Svendsen and Rose Eken from Rouge Oysters , while our first Listening Session Brunch sees Anthon Stacks from diving into 2000s West London Broken Beat. Tickets are limited.

All in all, we’re bringing you 17 dates of carefully selected sounds at Kinyōbi. From midweek discoveries and hospitality takeovers to weekend sessions stretching into the night, the programme keeps unfolding.

And yes — Golden Hour is still here every Friday to press play on the weekend.

Come by for a drink or a bite. You never know what you might discover.
