Community dinner · 06.05.2026 · Fest Bossa & Japan, a journey to Brazil & Japan through Music

As the sun travels towards its summer zenith, we found it appropriate to set up a turntable, invite friends and cook.

So it gives us immense joy that 2 x Jonas - Visti & Hartz - will join us and take all of us on a musical journey to Brazil and Japan. A treat that makes ourselves feel incredibly spoiled.

The 3rd Jonas is our own head chef for 10 years. Jonas Hillgaard who leads a band of merry chefs on our culinary travels.

So why these two countries ? The easier answer would be that we have a strong Japanese influence and one our Chefs - Gui - is from Brazil.
The other easy answer is the deep knowledge that 2 x Jonas possesses on Music from these two countries, making it an obvious choice.

But did you know that Brazil is home to nearly two million Japanese descendants, the largest group outside of Japan? That the reason was coffee? And through migration and return immigration there is a strong food identity mixing the two cuisines, which is present in both Brazil and Japan ?

The real answer however is that we love finding excuses to meet, invite people and celebrate life. So do join for a small fest.

The being prepared and will be posted when ready.
However we have Sake, Cachaça and other lovely beverages ready. Amongst those we are dying to try is to mix Cachaça with one of our favourite sins; Vermouth. Thus making a Rabo-de-Galo.

It gives us tremendous pleasure to invite you to an evening with Philippe Houdet, one of our grand residing French Chefs from the legendary restaurant Pierre André. Philippe’s influence on our present culinary scene can not be underestimated, so get ready for a French tour de force when we open the doors and welcome you in.

An evening with Japanese comfort food, conviviality, plenty to drink both with and without alcohol.

The menu is almost set with plenty of space for last minute inspirations. Join us as we also explore the wonders of sake, new home made alcohol free blends as well as the odd cup of tea. And wine of course and a pitcher of beer.

A wine makers soirée with Sepp Muster • Wednesday, October 29th

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to a soirée with winemaker Sepp Muster from Styria.

We will sit at a round table and share dishes, stories and bottles, starting at at 18:30 and ending when the Maitre D says good night.

Brace yourselves for a wondrous evening of conviviality and cheering.

The price is 1.200,- and includes food, wine and a splash of water. Limited to 12 seats.

As autumn battles winter, we turn to the forest, the open lands and the hunt. Join us for an evening with game and stories, when our dear friend Bjørn brings hoofed game to the table. Bjørn is a seasoned hunter, and regulates game from the far north of Scandinavia to the open fields not far from our city. We will join him creating side dishes befitting these magnificent animals.

The wine bar will dig deep in the cellar and create a wine list from the archive .. to be published stay tuned.

Community eating

Is our latest addition to Selskab. A social dinner created to withstand the darker months of the year or just an excellent excuse to go out and meet people. Acting as an eatery, we serve a 2 or more dishes as sharing dishes or whatever the evenings theme dictates, with options of add ons on the evening.

Menu

Bjørn will serve different cuts from hoofed game, accompanied a variety side plates from our green universe and celebrated classics. The menu is in progress.
