In 2015, Café Emmanuel was born as a calling, and a step of faith. What started as a small café became a place where hope, love, and compassion could reach people in need.
Looking back, I can clearly see the hand of Jesus in every step of this journey. He opened doors that no one could open, brought people into our path, and transformed challenges into opportunities. Through Café Emmanuel, I have witnessed His endless love, His faithfulness, and His power to touch lives.
Our story began quietly, but God had greater plans. The local media started to notice. First, Amager Bladet shared our story. Then Hjemmet featured the café, followed by Udfordringen. And now, in 2026, AmagerLiv has called Café Emmanuel “the hidden pearl of Amager.”
But the true story is not about media attention or recognition. It is about the countless people who have found encouragement, kindness, friendship, and hope through this place. Every smile, every conversation, every helping hand has been a reminder of God’s presence.
Jesus, You fulfilled what You promised. You have been faithful through every season. As I look toward the future, I do so with confidence, knowing that the same God who started this journey will continue to lead it.
All glory belongs to You. You were the One who lifted the broken, comforted the hurting, and helped those in need. I was only a glove in Your hand, but You were the hand that made a difference.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your endless love, Your grace, and Your faithfulness.
