Good morning and Happy Saturday! 🐢

We have hatchlings!

Elsa’s fifth nest emerged last night, and all of her babies made their way out of the nest. We are hopeful they safely crossed the sargassum and reached the ocean.

Join us today at 4:30 PM at the hatchery on Rosalie Beach as we open the nest and carefully remove its contents. There may still be a few live hatchlings that did not emerge with the others, so this will be another exciting and important data collection activity in support of our sea turtle conservation efforts.

Parking is available at the resort or by the Nature Trail.

We hope to see you there!

June brought us some beautiful turtle season moments at Rosalie Bay. 🐢

Three of Elsa’s nests emerged during the month of June, and it was truly wonderful to witness. We now have two more nests to go, and we are hopeful that July will bring even more hatchlings making their special journey to the sea.

Turtle nesting is one of nature’s most beautiful gifts, and doing our part to help conserve these incredible animals is a deeply rewarding experience. Each nest, each hatchling, and each journey reminds us why this work matters.

We extend heartfelt thanks to the Nature Enhancement Team, especially Simon and Judy George, for their continued hard work, dedication, and love for turtle conservation. We are grateful for all that they do and proud to continue being part of this wonderful journey with the turtles.
