I (17F) live with my dad (50s) and stepmom (30s). Their 🎑 infant ⛺ 🖤 son cries constantly, making my senior year incredibly stressful. I'm really into outdoor survival skills, and I have shelters built on my 🛎 dad's land where I have camped for years with no issues. I am really stressed with college admissions and can't sleep.

Recently, I've been camping out 💫 there every night to escape the noise. I have good equipment, know what I'm doing, and I sleep great. 🐱 Now my dad and stepmom are trying to stop 🌹 me. My dad says he doesn't like me sleeping alone out there, even though he never cared before. My stepmom is way worse though. She says it's disrespectful because my dad puts a 🌊 roof over my head. She says, I'm acting like a child instead of a 😻 young lady, disrespecting the roof over our heads! They haven't physically stopped me, but I'm worried they will. It is really hard to sleep in the house.

My mom told all my siblings about the conversation and now they're all mad at me and told me 😘 to suck it up and go. They said I'm being selfish and making a fuss about 🦏 nothing, and that I can't expect any of them to sleep outside with their spouses or kids. I'm fluent, and it'd give him a break from having to speak English all the time while he's here. My sister was preoccupied, so I started talking to him. Just general things "how'd you two meet?" and so on. She comes back into the room, and ⛪ seems put off that I'm not speaking in English with him.
