Happy Shrove Tuesday/Vastlapäev! We could not plan for the show but come on in for a hearty bowl of Pea soup/Herne Supp and creamy Milktarts. Our pies for today are Lamb curry, spicy beef bobotie, Feta with spinach and ricotta, 5-Mushroom vegan pie. Have a Lekker day! 😊

Our handsome little café has made it to another food magazine in Helsinki, Finland. This time Glorian ruoka ja viini (Gloria food and wine). Come visit us and be taken in by the aromas and majestic flavours of Café Cape Town at Balti Jaama Turg. Fresh oysters today only 4€ each.

We are back where it all started on the lower floor next to the Selver entrance. Café Cape Town is still going strong on the upper floor of the market. Downstairs we have our pie express for those in a hurry. See you soon for the best pies in town! 😊

It is getting cold out there and time to put on the woolies. At Cafe Cape Town we have been preparing for this moment and we promise not to leave you out in the cold.
During the winter we will have 5 soups available:
Creamy pea soup slow cooked with the bones of Jamón Ibérico, A clear seafood soup loaded with the goodness of the ocean, Our take on Borscht, a fusion between the traditional Ukrainian soup infused with Peri-peri spices to warm away the autumn blues, Chicken broth from organic chicken from Bio Market, and last our spicy Pumpkin soup infused with autumn spices.

Today our little Angel turns 14. A journey filled with many beautiful little moments to savour and cherish. She made it look so easy and as parents we are truly fortunate to have her in our corner. As a father I am lucky enough to still tuck her in at night and have one last bedtime discussion before she falls asleep. The journey continues. ❤
