Head Casa Alta sõbrad!

Meil on hea meel teatada, et peale väikest pausi oleme taas avatud.
Ikka samas kohas imeilusa vaatega terrassi ja põneva ajalooga Tallinna vanalinna majas.
Koht on küll sama, kuid restorani nimi, omanikud ja kontseptsioon on muutunud.

Alates 1.septembrist on meie uueks nimeks Restoran Valdemar.
Restoran sai oma nime Taani kuningas Valdemar II auks, kellele legendi kohaselt ca 800 aastat tagasi just siin, Taani kuninga aia juures, keset taanlaste vallutusretke, langes taevast alla lipp, mis tõi talle lahinguõnne. Lipust sai hiljem Taani riigilipp.

Restoran Valdemar on tõenäoliselt ainus restoran Tallinnas kus muuhulgas on võimalus proovida Taanis väga populaarset traditsioonilist kalarooga Stjerneskud.
Me armastame väga mereande ja käesoleval sügishooajal pakub meie andekas Itaallasest kokk Pippo teile roogi nii traditsioonilisest Taani köögist, kui ka kõigi poolt armastatud populaarseid toite vahemeremaadest.

DEAR FANS OF CASA ALTA

From the 1st of September, Casa Alta has a new owner, a new name and a
new concept, but still the same beautiful house and the terrace we all
love. We are now Restoran Valdemar, as a tribute to the Danish king who
received the Danish flag from the heavens right next to our restaurant
some 800 years ago. Valdemar will be a Danish restaurant, probably the
only restaurant in Tallinn serving the famous Danish fish dish
Stjerneskud. We care very much for seafood and during the autumn we will
serve both Danish and Mediterranean popular dishes prepared by our
talented Italian chef, Pippo.

Dear friends,
This week we are preparing the amazing pop up Spanish Dinner Party at Pianobar on Saturday 17th and our restaurant will be closed this week due to this.
We will wait for you on Saturday at 19.00 at Pianobar with an amazing 5 course dinner with selected wines and an evening full of surprises and performances from the artists Jorge Arena, Maria Rääk and Tommaso Primavera.
In the case you unfortunately miss this event, we will see you from next week as usual at our cozy restaurant Casa Alta.
