Almohalla 51 is hidden away without being isolated – the hotel borders the wooded hillside that rises above the town of Archidona but is just moments from the main plazas, bars and restaurants. Behind the whitewashed façade there are communal sitting rooms with open fires, shaded patios, landscaped terraces and a plunge pool. Outside the seating areas are perfect for breakfasting on freshly prepar

ed fruit, juices and eggs or enjoying sundowners. Each of our five individually-designed bedrooms combines traditional features with modern comforts. The furnishings – a rich mix of antique and modern – and linen have been sourced from around the world.

May has brought sunshine, singing, fiestas, laughter, walks in stunning scenery, pilates on the beach and groups of guests each celebrating something different!
There were countryside adventures, some on horseback and peaceful mountain walks. Lively Spanish Férias, and sunset boat trips.
Olive oil and wine tasting and city cultural experiences.
We had a pilates group rejuvenating with the swallows by the pool early mornings and lakeside Iznajar.
Later all shared beautiful moments around the pool in the evenings at Almohalla 51 ☀️
It has been a joy to host such wonderful groups of guests.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and created the memories that made this month so special. 💛
