We had the honor of presenting a ceremonial matcha performance at Soho House.

The event was inspired by cherry blossoms, a symbol of spring in Japan. It brought together specialists from various fields—food, music, dance, matcha, and confectionery—to express Japanese culture, creating a truly dreamlike experience.

At this special time when cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Japan, we are delighted to have shared this “Sakura Dream”.

At Mobile World Congress 2026, we had the pleasure of providing a Japanese hospitality experience at the Rakuten booth through matcha and Japanese cuisine.

Today, we had the honor of presenting a tea ceremony as part of a special collaboration between and .

While matcha continues to gain popularity across Europe, the world of the Japanese tea ceremony itself is still not widely known.

During the session, guests were invited into this world—learning about the tools, understanding the meaning behind each gesture, experiencing the aroma of freshly ground tea leaves.

It was an immersion designed to engage all five senses.

The tea was accompanied by seasonal autumn sweets, including beautifully presented strawberry mochi, created by Casa Bonay’s Japanese pastry chef, .

We hope the guests were able to feel the true depth of matcha — not only as a drink, but as a cultural ritual, a mindful practice, and an experience to be shared.
