To help accommodate more guests during our busy summer season, we’ve made the temporary decision to keep our conservatory exclusively available for walk-ins. This means we won’t be taking advance bookings for the conservatory, giving those passing by the opportunity to enjoy a meal with us too.

As always, 8pm is our busiest time, so if you’re planning to walk in from 8pm onwards, please bear in mind that there may be a bit of a wait.

We still have limited availability for both Saturday and Sunday:

If you arrive significantly earlier than your reservation time, we may not be able to take your food order until closer to your booked slot. As we’re all now fully aware… summer has arrived! ☀️

For us, summer doesn’t just mean warmer weather—it also means our restaurant gets busier than ever. We absolutely love welcoming both familiar faces and first-time guests, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support. 🤎

With that being said, we’d like to kindly ask for your understanding during our busiest hours.

Booking in advance is now a must and is highly recommended, as same-day availability is becoming increasingly limited and is often fully booked.

During service, we also receive a high volume of phone calls, WhatsApp messages and Facebook messages. While we’d love to answer every call immediately, our priority is always the guests who are dining with us. Giving them the attentive service they deserve means our team needs to remain focused on the restaurant floor.

Every phone call answered during service means one less member of staff looking after the restaurant.

Please don’t worry if we’re unable to answer your call straight away. It isn’t because we’re ignoring you—it simply means we’re busy looking after the guests currently with us. 🍽️🤎

The best way to contact us is via WhatsApp (our preferred method), Facebook Messenger or email. Although the Chateaubriand isn’t featured on our menu, we were delighted to prepare this beautiful pre-ordered dish for a very special birthday celebration. 🎉
At Alberto’s, we’re always happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible to help make your occasion even more memorable. 🤎

Our Chateaubriand was served with three homemade sauce choices, two potato options, and a selection of fresh grilled vegetables – creating a dining experience made to be shared.

The best part? The wonderful feedback afterwards… our guests told us it was the best Chateaubriand on the Costa! 🥰 Comments like these mean the world to our team and make all the hard work worthwhile.

After the unfortunate situation we experienced the other night, we have been completely overwhelmed — in the best possible way — by the incredible kindness, messages of support, and encouragement we’ve received from so many of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your words, your understanding, and your continued support mean more to us than you’ll ever know. It has reminded us just how lucky we are to have such an amazing community behind Alberto’s. 🤎

With summer now in full swing and the temperatures continuing to rise, we’d also like to kindly ask for your patience and understanding with both our kitchen and front of house team. Everyone is working incredibly hard to provide the best experience possible. If service appears a little slower at times, please be assured that every dish is prepared fresh to order and our team is doing everything they can to look after every guest as quickly and efficiently as possible, while working safely in the intense summer heat.

Today was a very disappointing day for us at Alberto’s.

We had a booking for 20 guests, made months in advance, and as we always do, we planned carefully around it — from staffing levels and table arrangements to service and kitchen preparation — not just for that table, but for all of our other booked guests too. Unfortunately, only 13 guests arrived.

For larger bookings, we take a deposit in advance, which is normally deducted from the final bill in full. However, when numbers are significantly reduced without enough notice, part of that deposit may be retained in line with our reservation policy. This policy is shared at the time of booking and is there to protect the restaurant when we have already prepared, staffed and turned other guests away to accommodate a reservation.

What upset us most was not just the situation itself, but the behaviour that followed. After the policy was explained, we were threatened with bad reviews, and as the party left, wine was deliberately poured onto the table and floor, leaving our staff to deal with the mess.

We understand that plans can change, and we will always do our best to help where we can. All we ask is that any changes to bookings are made with at least 24 hours’ notice, and that our reservation policy is read when booking.

To those who continue to support us, treat our team with kindness and respect, and appreciate the work that happens behind the scenes — thank you. It truly means more than you know, and it never goes unnoticed.

✨ Yesterday, we hit an all-time record for customers served at Alberto’s Grill House. ✨

Everything ran smoothly, everything stayed organised, and most importantly, we had happy customers from start to finish. But behind a night like that is something even more important than numbers… our staff.

🍽️ To our kitchen team — thank you will never feel like enough.
For the endless hard work, for your consistency, for your precision and for the pride you put into every single dish that leaves the kitchen. In this heat, while most people are searching for shade, you’re standing in front of grills, ovens & stoves, giving your all without ever letting standards slip. Service after service, plate after plate, you continue to represent Alberto’s with skill, strength and passion, and somehow still keep the banter going along the way. You deserve far more credit than you’ll ever ask for, and we are incredibly lucky to have you.

🍴And to our FOH team — thank you for being the face, the energy and the heartbeat of the restaurant.
For showing up every day with a smile, with a positive attitude, and with the excitement that comes from seeing a full book and a busy restaurant ahead. For the countless trips up and down the steps, carrying trays, food, drinks and empties, for keeping service flowing, for supporting one another, and for making sure every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Your hard work never goes unnoticed.

It’s been said before, but I’ll proudly say it again — we are not just a team, we are family, and it shows. 🤎

And at the end of the night, when the kitchen is clean, the terrace is wrapped up, the restaurant is reset and ready to do it all again, we sit down together knowing we’ve just made it through another hot, busy and brilliant shift as one.

Because BOH & FOH don’t work separately — we work together. And that’s what makes Alberto’s what it is.
I am so proud of every single one of you, and I honestly couldn’t wish for a better team. 🤎
