🇬🇧Anita is sweetness personified.
This little cat tested positive for FeLV (Spoiler alert: she is NOT) a year ago at a local refuge and was at risk of being euthanised. She joined a small group of FeLV positive cats who had to be isolated inside and from other cats because of their condition. Over the course of the year the other sick cats sadly died one by one and Anita was left terribly lonely as she is a very sociable young cat. She has spent the last six months alone which is heartbreaking.
Recently, a neighbouring association made us aware that there had been an occurrence of "false positive" felv test results in healthy young cats. Anita was taken to a vet where she tested negative for FeLV and FIV and is deemed in good health. After a year of being isolated due to a misdiagnosed condition and her sadness of seeing her foster brother and sisters pass away and being left alone, Anita now deserves the world.
Anita is approximately three years old, sterilised and vaccinated. She a very sociable and sweet cat who loves to be near her person. She has plush soft white fur and stunning green eyes and really is the perfect cat companion. Please help us find her the perfect family - she deserves to be pampered. It would be wonderful given her story to find a home where she is not left alone for long periods. She is good with other cats and dogs. Currently located near the Bellac area in 87 but can travel to her perfect forever home subject to a home check 🤍

🇫🇷Anita est la douceur incarnée.
Cette petite ch**te a été testée positive au FeLV (c'était jusqu'au bout une surprise..) il y a un an dans un refuge local, et risquait d'être euthanasiée. Elle a rejoint un petit groupe de chats positifs au FeLV qui devaient être isolés à l'intérieur et séparés des autres animaux à cause de leur maladie. Au fil de l'année, les autres chats malades sont malheureusement décédés les uns après les autres, laissant Anita terriblement seule, elle qui est une jeune ch**te très sociable. Elle a passé les six derniers mois seule, ce qui est déchirant.
Récemment, une association voisine nous a informés qu'il y avait eu des cas de « faux positifs » aux tests FeLV chez des chats jeunes et en bonne santé. Anita a été emmenée chez un vétérinaire où elle a été testée négative au FeLV et au FIV, et est considérée en bonne santé. Après un an d'isolement dû à une maladie mal diagnostiquée, après avoir vu ses frères et sœurs d'accueil décéder et être restée seule, Anita mérite maintenant le monde entier.
Anita a environ trois ans, elle est stérilisée et vaccinée. C'est une ch**te très sociable et douce qui adore être proche de son humain. Elle a un pelage blanc doux et soyeux, et de magnifiques yeux verts — elle est vraiment la compagne féline parfaite. Merci de nous aider à lui trouver la famille idéale — elle mérite d'être chouchoutée. Ce serait merveilleux, vu son histoire, de lui trouver un foyer où elle ne serait pas laissée seule pendant de longues périodes. Elle s'entend bien avec les autres chats et les chiens. Elle se trouve actuellement dans le secteur de Bellac (87), mais peut voyager jusqu'à son foyer pour toujours, sous réserve d'une visite du domicile 🤍
