Managed by Gabriel and Elisa Lamounier, Fazenda Guariroba , located in Campo das Vertentes, Minas Gerais state, is an award-winning farm in the production of specialty coffees in Brazil. In our coffee shop or on our website, you can find two varieties produced by them 🙂:
- a Pink Bourbon (Candinha), a double fermented coffee with notes of lavender flowers, mélasse, and honey, and
- a natural anaerobic red Catuai (Gabriel) with notes of orange blossom, wild strawberries, and honey.

The producers love to selecte microorganisms from the variety itself to do theirs fermented process. This system allows the coffee aromas to reveal themselves more intensely.

These coffee are awesome as a V60 or even as espressos.

It's with great pleasure that we present our natural Obatã coffee. 🙂
This variety, developed in Brazil, has a quite unique profile. It stood out for its honey-like sweetness, delicate florals and juicy fruit. These cherries have been manually harvested.

Bright and floral with dense plum and red grape. Dried yellow fruits, plum jam, cocoa, dark jams. Grape candy sweetness. Clean, structured profile with juicy stone fruit, yellow fruit and plush florals. 👅☕

It is produced by Manassés Dias ( ) on his farm located in Divinolandia, in the state of São Paulo. Divinolandia is the fourth highest city in the state and has volcanic soil, which makes this coffee very special.

And why is Obatã called Maria Eduarda here at Coffee Specialty Coffee? This name was chosen by the producer himself to honor his daughter.

Curious? 🧐
Obatã is available for tasting at the Coffee Shop and on our website.

Thank you, Manassés, for allowing us to work with one of your coffees. 🙏

Our Danielle coffee is a tribute to producer Danielle Fonseca and her family. Danielle has a degree in environmental engineering and is responsible for implementing the agroforestry culture on the mountain farm that has belonged to her family for many years
The Serra farm works with agroforestry management techniques in coffee growing, which means that the coffee plantation is mixed with other crops and the native vegetation of the region, which provides continuous improvement of the soil and carbon capture, contributing to the regeneration of the entire ecosystem of the region.

This Castillo variety is 100% Brazilian, cultivated by producer Luciana Vilhena at Fazenda Santa Mônica, Ibiraci, Minas Gerais, at an altitude of 1240m. The cultivation site is characterized by slopes protected by a eucalyptus windbreak, optimizing microclimatic conditions for the coffee shrubs.

Luciana shone at the Alta Mogiana Competition and filled everyone with pride as the best coffee produced by women, a result of the dedication, sensitivity, and feminine strength that drives Eldorado every day.

Post-harvest, optimally matured cherries undergo a controlled 108-hour anaerobic fermentation. Subsequently, they are dried slowly on raised beds. This processing methodology is designed to enhance the intrinsic flavor characteristics of the variety.

Sensory analysis indicates primary flavor notes of candied raspberries, tamarind, and key lime. The acidity is pronounced and harmonized with a high level of sweetness. Secondary aromatic compounds include lime blossom and vanilla. The coffee presents a wine-like, silky body, with minimal bitterness and a persistent, salivating finish.
