SWCP Chesil Beach Cafe serves seafood & more on the Jurassic Coast, just down the hill from Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens. Our secret hidden gem of a beach cafĂ© is tucked away on the world famous Chesil coastline. A stones throw from Abbotsbury and on the stunning South West Coast Path. Taken over by Sally of Sally’s Fish Camp in May 2024, we offer a menu of seafood specials and traditional favou

rites with outdoor seating or to takeaway. All deliciously fresh, seasonal and sourced locally. From daily artisan pastries through to local Portland crab sandwiches! Chesil Beach CafĂ© has one of the few access points to the Chesil banks by foot, car & pony! There is a sturdy, easy access boardwalk from the car park to the beach, of which is dog friendly too. There is plenty of parking (currently ÂŁ1ph) and 24hr toilet facilities. A short walk away from the cafĂ© is the Chesil bank fleet lagoon nature reserve, Abbotsbury Swannery, St Catherine's Chapel (famous for its amazing views), Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and known locally as the ‘Dragons Teeth’ - anti tank traps that remain from WW2 and are a go to spot for sea anglers. Take in the sea air, the stunning landscape and coastline. We would love for you to join us, or why not take away our food for a memorable picnic on the beach. Fully Licensed, we have a mouthwatering selection of alcoholic drinks, from local ciders to wine, chosen to perfectly pair with our menu and available to take away up onto the beach. Just remember to pack your deck chair! Or we’d love it just as much if you joined us alfresco style in our sheltered seating area at the cafĂš. LAST CHANCE TO BUY TICKETS before tomorrow’s deadline folks! Talia will be bringing her powerhouse singing skills to Chesil Beach Cafe for our ‘Surf & Turf Night’! With a versatile repertoire, from timeless classics to modern hits, Talia sings a range of styles. From laid-back lounge music, to upbeat party tunes! It’s going to be a mega night here on the coast in Dorset.

Chef Tim will be cooking some shrimps and flipping juicy burgers to be served from 6pm. A winning combo, oh yeah! A vegan burger is also available.

If you’d just like a Turf (burger) ticket - £16.50, or if you’d like to go the whole Surf & Turf (burger plus prawns) - £19.50. A choice of sides are also available on the night; Chips / Onion Rings / Monteray Jack Cheese / Jalapenos.

This night is going to be popular, so be sure to grab your tickets in plenty of time before we run out!

POSTPONED TO 11th JULY: Chariot of Fire, the wood fired pizza oven truck is coming to Chesil Beach Cafe in Abbotsbury and serving their proper handmade delicious pizza’s! Plus we’ll have our resident vinyl DJ Chris Bailey spinning the decks.... Oh yeah!!

Based just a few miles away, along the coast road near Bridport, Paul and Dan specialise in artisanal pizzas, made exclusively with fresh, hand-crafted dough. You can watch your very own pizza bases being hand-stretched and ‘thrown’!

A delicious 12” pizza and a cold can of beer, wine or cider from the bar, accompanied by the mellow chill ‘Ibiza’ sounds with DJ Chris Bailey on his selected vinyls for the vibes... is just £20!

So come on down to Chesil Beach Cafe in Abbotsbury between 5pm and 8pm on Saturday 11th July for some wood fired goodness!
