CakesbyDesign was founded in 1990 in London by cake designer Bev, who spent four years training in all aspects of sugarcraft followed by a two year apprenticeship working with top designers and the world famous department store in Knightsbridge. Bev’s innovative design and inspiration ensures CakesbyDesign are consistently at the forefront of our passion. Our designs are bespoke, contemporary and

classic, focusing on breathtaking intricate hand-craftsmanship combined with totally indulgent cakes. Bev’s experience and passion are evident as soon as you meet her at your tasting session in her tiny café bistro Cakes Coffee and Mohr (which she sees as an extension to her home) where all visitors are treated as friends and family. CakesbyDesign supply restaurants, hotels and bistros/cafes in Aberdeen/shire with our delicious gateaux, muffins and cupcakes which keeps us on our toes, ensuring a consistently premium quality wedding cake.
