Many of you know how strongly we feel about supporting those who have served. The battles don’t always end when the uniform comes off, and for far too many Veterans, the hardest fight is the one nobody sees.

Every single day, Veterans lose their lives to those hidden struggles. That is something we cannot ignore.

🎸🎤 THE SMILER MUSIC MARATHON IS BACK! 🎤🎸

This Sunday, we’re taking live music right through the heart of Oswaldtwistle in support of Ronald McDonald House Manchester ❤️

We’ll be moving from pub to pub, bringing the music, the atmosphere and the charity buckets with us — and we want the whole of Ossy to join the journey!

🏆 OUR LITTLE RHODEN LEGEND! 🏆❤️

The Rhoden family couldn’t be prouder today.

A huge congratulations to Skylar Shaw, who this week was crowned Winner of the Red Rose Award – Lancashire’s Champion at the Lancashire Education & Learning Awards. 🌹🏆

This incredible award recognises young people who go above and beyond to make a real difference in their communities, and anyone who knows Skylar will tell you she deserves every bit of this recognition.

Over the last year, Skylar has worked tirelessly raising money for Ronald McDonald House Manchester, helping families who need it most, and has raised almost £2,000 through her own fundraising efforts. ❤️

But that’s Skylar all over…

Today, with just one week left at Moor End Primary School, she spent her day running a stall at the school summer fair and raised another £120 for her school. Not because she had to… because she wanted to.

That generosity, compassion and community spirit are exactly what the Rhoden is all about, and seeing the next generation carrying those values forward fills us with so much pride.

Skylar, you’ve shown that you’re never too young to make a huge difference. We know you’ll smash high school just as you’ve smashed everything else you’ve put your mind to.

From everyone at the Rhoden, congratulations on becoming Lancashire’s Champion. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next.

Some stories come full circle.

Many years ago, Haydn and his family relied on the incredible support of Ronald McDonald House Manchester, where they stayed for 18 months while he was a child.

Fast forward to today, and Haydn has given something truly special back.

He spent the entire day at our Family Fun Day capturing every smile, every hug, every goal, every performance and every special moment. Then, after the event, he went away and edited every single photo completely free of charge so that every penny possible could go to the charity that once helped his own family. ❤️

That kind of generosity deserves to be recognised.
