📢 IMPORTANT DELIVERY UPDATE 📢
Many of you have been asking why you can no longer find us on Just Eat, so we wanted to explain.
As a small independent business, we've always tried to make things as convenient as possible for our customers. We accepted losing up to 36% of every order in fees just so we could continue offering deliveries through the app.
The problem wasn't the fees... it was what came after.
Like any business, we're human. We work incredibly hard, and occasionally mistakes happen. When they do, we always hold our hands up and do everything we can to put things right immediately.
Recently, a Just Eat driver collected the wrong order. We spotted the mistake straight away, contacted the customer, and personally rushed the correct order out, arriving just a couple of minutes later.
Sadly, instead of allowing us to fix the mistake, the customer opened the incorrect order, photographed it and claimed a refund through Just Eat, despite knowing the correct order was already on its way.
We challenged the claim, but unfortunately Just Eat ruled against us.
One dishonest claim might not seem like much, but for a small family business, these losses come straight out of our own pocket. They don't hurt a huge corporation, they hurt the people who get up early, work long hours and genuinely care about serving our community.
To everyone who has supported us honestly over the years... thank you. You are the reason we're still here, and we appreciate every single one of you.
