The Ariundle Centre is a tourism and a craft activity centre based in Strontian in the Western Highlands. It provides bunkhouse accommodation, as well as wonderful home cooked food in it's cafe bar area all year round. Individually cooked breakfasts, morning coffee, light lunches and scrumptious home baking are available in the restaurant and the sandwiches and baking make ideal packed lunches.In
the evening candlelit suppers are served using local products, sometimes with a local musician to entertain. Strontian and Ardnamurchan provide a stunning backdrop of tranquillity and rugged beauty. Walk through acres of woodland, follow twisting burns, and feel like you have the whole place to yourself. If your passion is kayaking, watching the wildlife, or if you just enjoy walking amongst the hills, there is something here for everyone to enjoy. The Ariundle Centre runs regular craft workshops to suite all interests. In Spring and Autumn there are weekend workshops in basket making, felting, weaving, patchwork and batik - to name but a few. The workshops are usually arranged over a two day period with food provided and accommodation available if required. We offer a friendly welcome and work hard to accommodate everyone. All our cakes and scones are freshly baked at the centre, and the menu changes daily. Come and visit us if you are in the area!
