CHERRY AMARETTI: This month’s fan favourite, as voted for by you!🍒🍨

We’ve been counting the scoops and this one has come out on top, (the cherry on top!😋) Have you had the chance to try it yet? It’s not one to miss and the statistics prove it! A blend of Amaretto biscuit and oozing cherries - it’s Cherry Bakewell in a cone❤️

At Ventuno we’re a balance of traditional and quirky when it comes to our flavours - from Vanilla, Milk Chocolate and Strawberry, to Cherry Amaretti, Mascarpone Profiterole and Fig and Walnut, there’s something for everyone.

For those still holding on to the classics, this one’s just for you!🥃🍇🍨

Rum and Raisin, or ‘Málaga gelato’, as it was originally named in Sicily, combines rum soaked raisins with Vanilla gelato🤌🏼 Although traditionally made with Marsala wine, when it made its way to America in the 1930s, this was soon completely replaced with rum! (We have a sneaky feeling the pirates were the first to discover this treasure…🏴‍☠️🧐)

Another busy few weekends at No.21!

From the fun of the Mardi Gras festival, to the heatwave we all thought we wouldn’t survive, (and some of the ice cream that certainly didn’t!), to the ABR festival welcoming lots of leather-clad bikers into our scoop shop for a well earned scoop and cool off - we’ve also taken the day to relax and recuperate in a thankfully more manageable forecast🤒😇⛅️

Thank you all for your cooperation during the heat, card machine fiascos and gelato buckling under the pressure! We can’t say how much your smiling faces and understanding helped us through this weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back tomorrow as we re-open.

Who knows, maybe a new flavour which you haven’t yet had the chance to taste will make a long awaited appearance…👀🤭🍫

THE STORY BEHIND VENTUNO 🍦❤️

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of having my own little shop or café.
Back in 2021, we took a huge leap of faith and sold everything — our house, car, businesses, and the life we knew, to travel the world as a family. Along the way, our little boy Reggie developed quite a love affair with gelato, making his way through more scoops than we could possibly count! 🍨✨

When our adventure came to an end, we made another big decision: to move back to the UK and settle in Alcester. It was a fresh start in a town where we didn’t know a soul, but it didn’t take long for us to fall in love with its charm, history, and wonderful community.
Every morning, as I walked Reggie down the High Street to nursery, I’d find myself thinking, “Wouldn’t it be lovely to have my own little shop here one day?”

Then, unexpectedly, a tiny shop became available. Without overthinking it, we followed our hearts and took the chance. The shop was number 21, the same number as the year Reggie was born. All the stars aligned and somehow it all felt meant to be.
Inspired by Reggie’s love of gelato, our passion for creating something special, and our love for the town we now call home, Ventuno was born in April 2026 and what an amazing journey it’s been. 🇮🇹🍦
