What a beautiful weather we have had for half term…finally ☀️
But as always it’s flown by!

This weekend we made another heart vintage cake for a wedding, these are definitely my new favourite.

Should I re open the cake shed?!

So we’ve been a little quiet enjoying a long weekend away and busy catching up. Think I’m just about there.

Just putting it out there -

We haven’t done the cake shed for a long time, just with a few complications.

But who would like to see it back? And if so what sort of bakes?
Cake slices, brownie, cookie pie, millionaires shortbread ect.

Thinking of having it ready for a Friday Am - Sunday as bakes will have up to 5 days on them.

Yesterday’s wedding cake….

3 tier heart shaped cakes with a vintage buttercream finish, including cherries and bows.

I absolutely loved make this cake, these really are my favourite to create.

Loved making this large heart shape wedding cake the other week.

This design is becoming very popular and I love it!

The vintage styles always make a come back!

Our diary over the next few weeks is really busy but here are the weeks commencing where I might be able to squeeze the odd ones in.

Trying to catch up but I am rubbish at the moment. I need more hours in a day!

Here’s some of last weeks cakes.

We have a really busy couple of weeks ahead so I shall try my best to keep up with messages and socials.

Please be sure to get your summer orders in early as through the 6 weeks holidays I don’t take on as much and I am away from the 16th - 1st September.

It’s also never too early to get booked in.
Our diary is open right through till 2027!

These vintage buttercream cakes are extremely popular at the moment and I love making them so I thought I’ll do an offer with the bak holiday weekend coming up.

The offer -

- 8” sponge cake round or heart
- any colour, ribbons, piping or wording
- choose from flavours -
Vanilla, chocolate, chocolate orange, lemon, cherry Bakewell or salted caramel.

£45 saving £10

- £20 deposit must be paid to secure your order
- booked for any time within 2026 subject to availability
- can’t use against an order already placed
- not available as gluten or dairy free
- must be ordered by 10pm Monday 4th May.

I don’t usually do 3D cakes but when a regular / friend asks you I can’t say no.

I have to say, I think I’ve pulled it off! Absolutely loved making this cake and the end result! 🤩

Getting these all ready for the Rate Strong Race (Amber Valley) this weekend.

What could be better than completing a race and celebrating with a cupcake, definitely one you’ll have earnt!

I’ll also be taking on the challenge

60 wall balls
100m burpee broad jumps
60 deadlifts
60 goblet squats
60 WP clean & press
60 lunges
400m row
400m ski

With 400m run/sprint between each exercise.

A great way to challenge yourself and set some goal.
